ABOUT THE DIRECTOR â€‹â€‹

William Allen Hayes, Jr. (Allen) is a retired Soil Scientist and a resident of Fairmont, NC. Despite his technical background, Allen has been interested in art for most of his life and expressed that interest by playing guitar, writing songs and performing when opportunities became available.

After retiring, and in an effort to make better music videos, Allen ran across the Recording, Radio and Film Connection based in California. It's an on-line film school that places their students with working production studios to gain experience, and potentially employment, in the film industry.

Allen was paired with mentor Erika Arlee of Honey Head Films located in Wilmington, NC. As part of his training, Allen wrote, directed and edited a short film called "The Last Customer".
