Synopsis
When a group home for boys closes and a single mother who has regained custody of her son does not show up on the final day, the house mother must go in search of the boy’s mom before heading off to her new life where she hopes to reconcile with her own estranged daughter.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR ​​
Meghann Artes is an award-winning filmmaker based in Chicago, IL. Raised in a small town in Iowa, she spent most of her adult life in big cities like New York, LA and Chicago. Starting out in animation, her short film Stronghold represents her expansion into live action filmmaking. Meghann has always had an interest in humanistic stories that reach across the various divisions of society in an attempt to demonstrate our common bond. When not pursuing her artistic endeavors, she is a Professor and Associate Dean at DePaul’s School of Cinematic Arts in Chicago.
