A little polar bear Ursa is alone in the cold dark Arctic and looking for his mum. He walks through a blizzard, through icy cold tundra and sharp ice hummocks, towards the northern lights and the magic song in hope to find his mother. After many challenges he comes to the edge of the earth. In front of him is only the sea and the northern lights. And there in the distance, in the northern lights he sees his mum!

About the Director

Natalia Malykhina has 30 years of animation experience - short and feature cartoon films and animation series, commercials, TV programs. Malykhina is an animator, scriptwriter, storyboard and lay-out artist for more than 20 animated film projects at international film production studios in Moscow and Budapest. Natalia is currently the director and producer of a little creative animation studio ULVENFILM located in Lillehammer, Norway. The studio has a focus on nice and kind children's animation, such as the project «Little Grey Wolfy» - a cycle of four short films on four seasons of the year, and a new short film "Ursa," which is not only a cute story for the little ones, but also touches on serious environmental problems. Natalia Malykhina Bratli is the author and screenwriter of all her film stories.
