About the Director

Caitlin Gray was born and raised in New York, and currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. She has spent the past 20 years working as a choreographer for tv, film, music videos, theatre and live events. Her choreography credits include the World and Australian premieres of Baz Luhrmann’s “The Great Gatsby”, CBS “Reckless” starring Cam Gigandet and Anna Wood, Sony Music Australia, The Veronicas “You Ruin Me”, which won an ARIA award (Australian Grammy) for Best Video of the Year, NBC/Universal Kids, Big Time Rush tour, Miss USA, as well as numerous live events and movie premieres including Speedo International Olympic Product Launch featuring Michael Phelps, BMW Series 5 Launch, Marina Bay Sands featuring David Beckham, and "Deadpool 2" featuring Ryan Reynolds. Theatre credits include Spring Awakening, Head Over Heels, The Tempest, The Moors and Saturday Night Fever. Like so many performance artists, Caitlin turned to filmmaking when Covid-19 shut down all avenues of production and theatre work, and discovered that she really loved it. At the urging of her cousin (veteran filmmaker, writer and director, John Gray), she put her first short film on the film festival circuit and it's been a wonderful and exciting journey thus far. REVERIE recently had its West Coast premiere at the world-famous Chinese Theatres in Hollywood with Dances with Films, and has won 15 awards, including Best Direction and Best Dance Film. Caitlin is excited to work on more projects that incorporate dance and movement into storytelling and currently has a dance docuseries, scripted dance show and reality show in development.
