[FESTIVAL PREMIERE]

The Paper People Play (Paper Dolls) cast performs in a play inspired by the Aesop's Fable play, The Fox And The Grapes. FOX tries to eat grapes from a vine but cannot reach them. Rather than admit defeat, she states they are undesirable and almost gives up until her Goody Tissues friends helps her reach her goal.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

Kristin Broadwell makes her directorial debut with “Paper People Play" to motivate play-based learning to enhance academic and developmental learning outcomes by encouraging children to create their own plays and stories while sharing moral lessons.

​

Kristin who is the voice of all the characters received a degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Early Childhood Development and a Master’s Degree in Education concentrating in Instructional Technology. She has taught Kindergarten and First grade. As an actor, she has performed in several plays and independent films. She has studied Drama at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and is a graduate of Chicago’s Second City Conservatory and the prestigious School at Steppenwolf.

Kristin produced and starred in "A Wish Your Heart Makes" which went on to receive the Remi Award at the WorldFest Houston Film Festival and produced and starred in the woman centered web-series, "Vendors."
